Fair Isle sweaters trace their roots back hundreds of years to the tiny island of Fair Isle, off the northern coast of Scotland. Known for their distinctive multicolored knit patterns and all-wool construction, they became a hallmark of warmth and craftsmanship. Like the name suggests, it’s made from 100% merino wool for warmth, breathability, and easy movement. Merino is also naturally moisture-wicking and odor-resistant, so this piece will perform much better than a traditional wool knit when navigating airports and holiday parties. To finish it off, we added lycra to the ribbed neck, cuffs, and hem for lasting shape retention and extra protection from the cold.
